Asset Specifications

Most specifications describe measurable characteristics such as MPG or Rotations per Minute. However, specifications can include descriptive characteristics, such as Exterior Paint Color. When measurable specifications have been assigned to an asset, acceptable levels (minimum, maximum, and optimum) and readings can be delineated.

Readings that fall outside defined acceptable levels are highlighted. The asset specification record can even be defined to automatically generate a new work order if the specification task fails to meet defined levels.

ClosedSpecifications List

The Specifications List displays the specifications tied to this asset. A separate section displays for each category if categories have been assigned. Each specification lists the specification name, current value, and range if applicable. If a value has been entered that is out of range, the specification will be indicated in red.
